What is Local Vocals?
Local Vocals is Mimico Children’s Choir’s FUN-draising women’s community choir. It’s a sessional (usually 6-week) pop-up group that is fun, social and ever so musical! Local Vocals perform in the Children’s Choir’s main concerts when we are in session. New members of all abilities are welcome for every session – there is no audition. Fun, varied and often familiar repertoire is chosen in advance of each session, and practice tracks are usually made available for review at home between rehearsals.
Look forward to our Fall Sing and hope you can make it out to sing with us this time round – the last three sessions have been so much fun! Here’s a little taste from our first session, just to get you in the mood!
